Blumenmuskel, der der Anemone
Wiesenmorgen nach und nach erschließt,
bis in ihren Schoß das polyphone
Licht der lauten Himmel sich ergießt,
in den stillen Blütenstern gespannter
Muskel des unendlichen Empfangs,
manchmal so von Fülle übermannter,
daß der Ruhewink des Untergangs
kaum vermag die weitzurückgeschnellten
Blätterränder dir zurückzugeben:
du, Entschluß und Kraft von wieviel Welten!
Wir Gewaltsmen, wir währen länger.
Aber wann, in welchem aller Leben,
sind wir endlich offen und Empfänger?
Flower muscle pulling Anemone
open in the wide morning field,
til into your womb
comes pouring light divine
from skies so loud and full of sound
in the quiet blooming star
the muscle stretches
never ceasing to receive
sometimes, so much so,
that you hardly hear at all
the voice of the sinking sun saying
close your petals for the night
and wrap them quick and tight
around you; sleep and grow:
You- a force and power
of how many worlds?
We're warmakers
we last longer,
but when, in any of our lives,
are we
as free
and open at the end?
