These lyrics are from the eponymous poem by Misha Feigin
lyrics
In our world
anything left alone
in the air
falls down equalized
by the same fate and velocity
slipping into gravitational curves
sending out sound waves
announcing the end of a short journey:
bright crescendo of glass
shattered by an explosion
the soft thump of ripe fruit
or a fallen body
steady clatter of hail
undulating tremolo of rain
muted thuds of nuts
rustling of disposed leaves
indescribable signals of seed, spores and snowflakes
arriving at the destination
echoes of our stretched hands
catching each other so close
to the unyielding surface
the warmth of our hearts radiating upwards
together
with everything growing
refusing to succomb
